1. The Stanford Vibe: Meeting the Ultimate Health-Conscious Crowd
When we arrived at the beautiful Stanford campus, the energy was electric. Students and faculty here are always on the go—juggling intense studies, tech startup meetings, and active workouts. They need fuel that works as hard as they do, but they are also incredibly picky about ingredients. We set up our taste-testing booth hoping for real connections and even realer feedback.
This was the perfect place to test if a Korean-crafted brand could naturally fit into the busy, dynamic California lifestyle.


2. Brutally Honest Feedback: Taste, Texture, and the Search for Zero-Sugar Joy
We didn't hold back. We asked students and faculty for their unfiltered thoughts on our products, specifically on the taste and texture. The insights we gathered were incredibly valuable.
They loved the incredibly crispy texture of our Finger-pop and were genuinely surprised by the savory flavor profiles, which are often missing in US protein puffs. However, they also provided excellent feedback on the subtleties of sweetness preferred in the US market and gave us great ideas for flavor combinations they are desperately looking for during late-night study sessions.
"I want something that satisfies my sugar craving without actually having sugar," one student told me, praising our use of 0-calorie alternative sweeteners but wanting us to ensure the taste profile remained authentic. We took notes on how the 'mouthfeel' can be optimized to feel like a treat, not just fuel.

3. The 'Clean and Fun' Evolution: Redefining Branding Based on Real Demand
Perhaps the most eye-opening conversations were about our branding and brand message: "Clean and Fun." Students loved the concept but offered profound ideas on how to make it even more compelling for busy consumers.
They shared that packaging must instantaneously communicate three key things: clean nutrition, incredible taste, and the joy of eating. They want low-sugar and high-protein content, but they don't want it to look like medicine. Based on this direct feedback from Stanford, we are actively developing and iterating on our brand assets and packaging right now to make the BENOPE experience even clearer, more vibrant, and more engaging for the US market. We aren't just selling snacks; we are co-creating a lifestyle with our community.

4. Attention US Retailers: The Next Version is Built with Silicon Valley Data
